Contest

thefashioncontest.com is an online competition for fashion designers, students in fashion schools and professionals. Its objective is to evaluate your creative skills in fashion design but also your technical skills with regards to the use of computer tools.

The competition is now open and the final date for submission is February 29^th, 2008 March 28^th, 2008.

The sponsors of the thefashioncontest.com make the commitment to be fair and ethical with regards to the management of the competition

The selection of the winning designs will be made by a jury consisting of representatives of the fashion world. Three prizes will be awarded to the 3 winners:

• 1^st Place: CDN$1,500
• 2^nd Place: CDN$1,000
• 3^rd Place: CDN$500

The theme of the contest is children’s clothing and is detailed in the brief (PDF) that can be downloaded from inside your account following your registration. It also contains details on the procedure to follow to submit your participation, which is required to be in electronic form. To be qualified as a participant, you have to submit 3 sketches and 1 pattern, all in separate JPG files.
